Sustainability at TAF Beach Villas

As the most important doctor of ancient Greece Hippocrates, who was living in Kos, said, we are what we eat. TAF has a private biological garden where fruits and vegetables are grown and used in the food enjoyed by guests. We also keep a chicken coop of around 50 chickens, producing biological eggs for guest menus.

It is one more way we stay connected to the land and bring part of the food experience closer to its source.

Electric mobility is part of the TAF experience.

Beyond the Tesla vehicles associated with guest stays, staff vehicles and mother company VAVLIS are also electric, bringing electric vehicles to more than 80% of the total fleet.

For us, this matters because responsible choices should exist in operations too, not only in guest-facing services.

All swimming pools at TAF are heated using low energy heat pumps and mainly cleaned using natural salt electrolysis, a system that produce natural disinfectan a method that helps limit the use of chlorine.

This allows us to keep comfort as part of the experience while reducing chemical dependence and operating more thoughtfully.

TAF applies a social responsibility ethical framework and invests in recruiting, training, and developing local people and immigrants as well. We believe, people have equal opportunities and rights.

We believe sustainability also includes the quality of the relationship a business builds with its local community and the opportunities it helps create.

A stay should feel effortless for the guest. That does not mean the thinking behind it should be effortless too.
