I am Andreas, visioner and founder of TAF

I was born on the island of Kalymnos, raised among salt‑soft mornings, warm winds, and the true meaning of filoxenia - welcoming every traveler as a friend. Even when life took me to the UK to study engineering, the islands never stopped calling me back. Returning to Kos, I knew I wanted to create something rooted in authenticity and the effortless simplicity of island living.

Louise and I spent years travelling the world with our boys, collecting moments and learning what makes a holiday feel meaningful: good food, beautiful surroundings, easy days under the sun, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home. We also learned the challenges - especially for families. Those experiences planted the idea for a place where everything would feel lighter, easier, more natural.

TAF Villas grew from that vision.
A small, living ecosystem where privacy meets connection, where modern comfort blends with the timeless character of the Greek islands, and where guests are free to move at their own rhythm.

About TAF - the facts

TAF Beach Villas opened in June 2021 in Tigaki, on the north coast of Kos, Greece. It is a six-villa beach resort, officially classified 4-star, owned and run by Louise and Andreas Vavlis and named after their sons Theodoros, Alexandros and Filippos. Each villa has its own pool kept at 28 °C all season, a mature garden and a Tesla Model Y included for the whole stay (insurance is mandatory and paid on arrival). The sea is about 150 metres away - a two-minute walk along the resort's private path, which ends on Tigaki beach beside the Tribe beach lounge. Breakfast is included. Kos Town is about 12 km away, the airport about 15 km. The property was formerly known as TAF Boutique Villas; on some booking sites it appears as "TAF Beach Villas with Tesla Car and Heated Pool".
